MEET THE OWNERS

Business owners Jackie McKee, and Mike and Karen Brooks have an extensive amount of animal care experience.

Jackie has several years of volunteer experience with Guide Dogs for the Blind where her experience included administrative responsibilities, feeding, bathing, and walking the dogs in training at the Guide Dogs campus in Boring, Oregon. She has also raised three guide dog puppies in training for Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Jackie has also volunteered at Bob Grove’s Lake Oswego veterinarian clinic where responsibilities included caring for dogs that were staying at the kennel while their owners were out of town. The many tasks performed included walking, socializing, cleaning, feeding, watering and bathing the dogs.

Karen has spent the last 20 years in the retail market, dealing with customer requests as well as working with vendors. Providing excellent customer service has been a large part of Karen’s focus. Understanding the needs of the customer as well as the goals of the employer was the number one priority.

Mike Brooks is the maintenance manager of The Dog Park and strives to create a safe, clean and fun environment for the needs of each customer’s pets.

Together Jackie, Mike and Karen currently have five dogs, one cat, two horses and a rabbit.

From business colleagues to friends surveyed, Jackie, Mike and Karen have what it takes to make this venture extremely successful. Their goal is to develop a reputation where they exceed expectations while continuously establishing a satisfied client base.
